My favorite place in Phuket, the award-winning JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, has just opened its fabulous new Thai Cooking School – Ginja Cook.
Ginja Cook offers fun filled, hands-on experience as guests learn alongside the charming Chef Tammasak and his team, as they progress from apprentice to Master Chef, able to turn out a Thai banquet at home to impress family, colleagues, and friends.
Held daily from Mondays-Saturdays between 8.00am – 2.00pm, the Ginja Cook Thai itinerary is as follows:
8:00am Meet in the lobby and depart on a culinary journey
8:30am Experience the colors and aromas of a local Thai market
9:30am Return to Resort for a Phuket style breakfast
10:00am Traditional Spirit House blessing
10:30am Introduction to the Ginja Cook Day course
11:00am Explore the world of Thai herbs and spices
11:30am Cooking adventure begins
1:00pm Savor your culinary masterpieces for lunch
2:00pm Food carving the Thai way (optional)
The Ginja Cook Day includes the following gifts:
•Thai Cook Book with a local herbs and spices guide
•Ginja Cook Souvenir Apron
•Ginja Cook Master Culinary Certificate
•Beverage service of wine, beer, soft drinks and juice throughout the program
A Junior Ginja Cook Day:
Guests are welcome to have their children between the ages of 10-15 join them for an additional $75.00 USD per child. The Junior Ginja Cook Day includes gifts of:
