About a year earlier, downstairs from biztravel.com, I had built a photographic studio and darkroom. I had been collecting Ansel Adams' photographs since I was twelve, and loved landscape and portrait photography. So now the studio became a gallery, and in 1999 segued into The Edward Carter Gallery of fine art photographs in the most prestigeous gallery building in New York City--560 Broadway in SoHo.

Following 9/11, everything changed in New York City, and I decided to move the gallery online, and move myself to safer and more pleasant climes.

So now Edward Carter Galleries PTY LTD is based in Singapore, and specializes in rare, original, signed work of Ansel Adams, the best know photographer of the 20th century. Visit it at http://www.edwardcartergalleries.com.
