An Anthology - What is "Travels" all about?
Dateline: Bangkok, May 2010... My travel journal started out in 1986 as Letters from Abroad, but since some people weren’t sure whether Abroad was one word or two ;-), I changed the title of the advertising-free, twenty-two-page, subscription-only monthly to Edward Carter’s Travels©. It continued in hardcopy form until it was launched on the Internet, August 31, 1995. As such, it is one of the oldest, independent, travel reference sites, and has become virtually mandatory reading for travellers and travel and hospitality professionals around the world.
